Straighten Without Wires!

Invisalign® straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners.  A consultation with our doctors can determine if Invisalign® is right for you.

How does it work?

The Invisalign® aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position.  Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan.  A series of aligners – as few as 12 and as many as 48 are fabricated.  Each aligner is worn for about 2 weeks at a time and only taken out to eat, brush and floss.  As you replace the aligners week by week your teeth will gradually move until the final alignment is attained.

How long does treatment take with Invisalign®?

Like traditional braces, the length of treatment depends on the complexity of the case.  Treatment time typically with Invisalign® is about a year.

Does insurance cover Invisalign®?

Typically, an insurance policy that covers traditional braces also covers Invisalign® to the same extent.
